When you ask me to take a look

I collect the website address and email you submit so I can review your request, reply and discuss possible work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). There is no automated assessment of your business.

Requests are stored in Cloudflare’s database service. Cloudflare Email Service sends a notification to my Zoho Mail account in the EU. These providers process information to run the website and email; Cloudflare operates a global network and may process data outside the EEA using its applicable data-transfer safeguards.

Keeping the form safe

For abuse prevention I temporarily store a one-way hash of your network address, not the raw address, with a short request counter. These records expire after 24 hours. This uses my legitimate interest in keeping the service available (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare also processes connection information to serve and protect the website.

How long I keep it

The website database deletes requests after six months. Email conversations that do not lead to work are deleted within six months after the last contact, unless a legal obligation or an active dispute requires longer retention. If we work together, contract and accounting records may need to be kept for statutory periods.

No tracking or mailing list

This site uses no advertising cookies, analytics trackers or newsletter subscription. Fonts and images are served by this site. External project links open their own websites, with their own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object where processing relies on legitimate interests. Email me at the address above. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority at dsb.gv.at.
